SNSD have been in the music business ever since debuting in the mid-2007. They have currently released two full-length albums, two mini-albums, and two repackaged albums. They have also participated in singing OSTs of various Korean TV dramas and have been a part of one of SM TOWN's winter vacation albums 2007 Winter SMTown – Only Love with other fellow SM artists. Their debut song was "Into the New World" (Korean: 다시 만난 세계) in 2007. The group has sold over 100,000 copies for each of their three albums, a first for female groups in the South Korean industry in over 6 years.
